As India celebrates its 68th Republic Day, Twitter has added a Republic Day emoji. The emoji has gone live and will be available until Friday, January 27.
Indians world-wide can use the hashtags #RepublicDay or #HappyRepublicDay or #RepublicDay2017 when tweeting anything related to Republic Day. The hashtag activation is also available in Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and Marathi. The emoji design is an interpretation of the Indian tricolour which will appear after the hashtag in the tweet.
