JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in two sessions—in January and April. Application form for January session will start from September 2020 and examination is held in the month of January 2021 and for April Session JEE Main 2021 Application Form will be available from 1st week of February 2021 and examination will be held in the month of April 2021.
Due to the current condition of COVID-19 Pandemic, JEE Main 2020 April Session Examination will be held on 1st to 6th September 2020 which is already 5 months late from its usual schedule so candidates can expect slight delay on January session and April session although there is no official update from National Testing Agency (NTA) on Exam Schedules yet.
It is possible that NTA conduct January session examination in the month of February instead of January 2021 as abovesaid JEE Main 2021 is already 5 month late from its schedule and surely Result and Counselling process will going to take 1 or 2 months. So it’s quite a challenging task to conduct the exam like JEE Main where millions of candidates participate together in such a short time.
According to the personal statement of higher officials of National Testing Agency. NTA wants to conduct JEE Main January Session examination on its usual schedule however they also mention time problems and board examination of participating candidates.
If such thing happens then it is possible that NTA release JEE Main 2021 January session Application Form in the Month of October or November 2020 and possible examination will get held in the month of February 2021. Yet it is possible that delay in January Session can effect on April session and April session examination get postpone till the May or June 2021.
