JEE Main (Joint Entrance Exam Main) 2023 Dates are expected to be announced this week by National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam will be held in two sessions i.e., mid-January and April.
Recently, the Government is planning to have a fixed calendar for JEE Main, NEET, & other UG exams. This week, the Education Ministry is likely to make an announcement to streamline the exam schedule for Engineering, medical & UG colleges.
As per the officials, the probable date of JEE Main 2023 registration will be announced soon in the calendar. The University Grants Commission, a committee is working on preparing the fixed exam calendar.
JEE Main is a national level engineering entrance examination which is conducted twice a year. The exam is conducted for candidates who want to take admission in Engineering, Technology and Architecture/ Planning courses.
Last year, approx. 9.5 lakh applicants applied for JEE Main exam and the same number of candidates are expected this year too for reapplying to obtain better scores.
JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main 2023 Exam pattern for B. Tech paper consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical questions. B. Tech paper 1 has 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Candidates who are applying for JEE Main 2023, have to fulfill the eligibility criteria as discussed by the National Testing Agency.
Steps to Fill JEE Main 2023 Application Form
Here we have provided steps to fill the application form of JEE Main 2023:
· Visit the website of JEE Main 2023 (jeemain.nta.nic.in.)
· On homepage, click on registration link.
· Then register yourself on the portal.
· Fill the JEE Main 2023 application form by entering basic details.
· Pay the application fee and submit the form.
· Download the application form and take the printout for the same.
The authority will also provide the correction facility to the candidates, if there is any mistake in the submitted details. Students have to edit form before the last date of application correction. If not, the application form will get rejected.
The National Testing Agency will release the admit card for only those candidates who will successfully register for the exam. Admit card will be available through online mode by entering the login credentials. The admit card is expected to release before 15 days of the exam.
Candidates who will qualify the JEE Main 2023 exam will be able to apply further for JEE Advanced and can take admission in IITs. Other than IITs they can take admission in NITs, CFTIs, etc.
