In a spirit of genuine appreciation and camaraderie, Delhi and Haryana State Office orchestrated a magnificent IndianOil Customers Day Celebration at COCO Jangpura, New Delhi featuring the esteemed presence of Mr S M Vaidya, Chairman and Dr Naresh Trehan, CMD, Medanta the Medicity, Gurgaon. The event unfolded with launching “Pure Aur Poora – Dono Hee” a Q&Q campaign, focusing on quality assurance for customers by the duo amidst customers and other senior officers. The captivating demonstration of quality checks to Dr Trehan was followed by warm reception and felicitation. Mr Vaidya welcomed and felicitated Dr Trehan on the occasion and presented him with Rhino- the mascot of IndianOil. Sh. Yash Gupta and Sh. Rachit Singh, both Basketball Players; Paraolympian Sh. Singhraj Adhana; Prestigious Customers and SAMPARK- E-Learning Champions (CAs/RO Managers/Field Officers), were felicitated for their outstanding contributions by the Chairman on this occasion. Chairman along with Dr Trehan and customers have cut the cake to celebrate the day.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Trehan expressed his gratitude towards IndianOil for its humility and congratulated Mr Vaidya for steering a customer centric organisation. He was awestruck about knowing that IndianOil takes care of about 3 crore customers on daily basis throughout the Country. Dr Trehan also shared profound insights on the paramount importance of exceptional customer service and its far-reaching impact on the community. Cherishing the relation with IndianOil he mentioned that IndianOil is one of the first Corporate and this relation was first established for over 35 years ago when he returned from America and setup Heart Institute at Escorts in Delhi.
He also shared that it takes vast infrastructure, huge platform, and remarkable efforts to delivering to such a large number of customers every day with satisfaction. He appreciated IndianOil for keeping the wheels of the Country turning all the time. Dr Trehan further emphasized on predictive and preventive health check-ups of people for early detection of the disease and its cure. He shared his delight for being health partner with IndianOil.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Vaidya mentioned that Indianoil is king of logistics, and we are second to none. He shared that IndianOil is having 40000 trucks traversing one Lakh kilometres every day delivering fuel at every nook and corner of the Country. This strength of IndianOil was leveraged during the Covid -19 Pandemic times by Government of India in importing huge quantity of Liquid Medical Oxygen containers from all parts of the World in one week’s time with the help of Indian Navy and Air Force. And then, IndianOil transported LMO from eastern parts of the Country where it was being produced by steel plants and ensured its supply to the hospitals of Delhi and other parts of the Country in the times of acute shortage of LMO in the Nation. He further highlighted that IndianOil did a great job in whatever were the circumstances during the pandemic.
He also drew attention of Dr Trehan towards the preventive, predictive and break-down maintenance of plant and machineries at IndianOil. He mentioned that a Stitch in time saves nine as it is better to get the knowledge of what you have, which can be cured that way. He further shared that IndianOil is promoting Comprehensive medical Check-ups for its employees and their dependent Family members. The Corporation has started wellness program because the Organization believes in Mental as well as Physical wellbeing of IndianOil Family. Mr Vaidya mentioned that he firmly believes a happy organisation can only deliver and IndianOil has a lot to deliver to the Country. He emphasised that IndianOil people supply 50% energy to the Country, and they need to be fit and fine to deliver the same. The festivities continued with Mr Vaidya's engaging visit to the Play Zone injecting a delightful touch of fun into the celebration.
Earlier, Mr Manoj Gupta, ED&SH, DSO welcomed Mr Vaidya and Dr Trehan and Prestigious customers for the celebration. In his welcome address, he emphasized the customer-centric approach of the Corporation and new initiatives by the state office.
