Adman and author Suhel Seth, accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct and harassment, has now lost his job as a consultant at Tata Sons. "Counselage’s (Suhel Seth) contract with Tata Sons will end on November 30, 2018," news agency ANI quoted a Tata Sons spokesperson as saying.
Tata Group had said they were looking into the matter.
Suhel Seth, was at the centre of the #MeToo storm in India, as at least five women opened up about acts of sexual harassment by the author-cum-socialite. Filmmaker Natashja Rathore, model and Diandra Soares, journalist Mandakini Gahlot, and writers Ishita Yadav and Ira Trivedi are among the women who have accused Seth.
I finished my drink and was saying bye to the people in that group, when Suhel reached out - I figured for a quick hug - and planted a big sloppy kiss on my mouth, I felt his tongue inside my mouth. I was so stunned and I said something like Suhel, you can't do that.

Part 1: I am not doing this for publicity. I am not doing this for Money. I am not doing this to malign a person. I am doing this solely to empower other women to directly confront the perpetrator. It’s hard - But it’s about time. This is my #MeToo message to Suhel Seth. pic.twitter.com/h1Z4VCBoq7

Most of the accusers stories had a similar pattern.
Seth is yet to respond to the allegations. In fact, he has gone incommunicado after the MeToo allegations against him. An active Twitter user, he hasn't tweeted after October 10.
Union minister M.J. Akbar, Bollywood director Vikas Bahl, actors Nana Patekar and Alok Nath, were among the big names exposed by the MeToo movement that took India by storm recently. Akbar had resigned following the allegations and slapped a defamation case on journalist Priya Ramani, one among the multiple women who accused him of harassment.
