Pandemic may have slowed down the pace of development everywhere in the world but one field that didn’t stop at all was education, especially in the urban area of India. However, in the rural areas, in absence of technology, children were kept devoid of regular educational opportunities. Now a visionary entrepreneur, Lloyd Jude, is hoping to bridge the rural-urban divide in the education sector.

The main aim with which Lloyd Jude is stepping into the field of education business is to help students connect to the best faculties in the country. This noble thought made him shift from stock market entrepreneurship to the education sector. He is keen to make the education system accessible, equitable, affordable and accountable for students who find it hard to do so. In this venture, he is partners with ED-Bus, a top-end edu-tech startup, which helps students learn through latest information and knowledge. Ed-tech will launch its operations in January in the Middle East, Mumbai and Bangalore with its headquarters located in Mumbai and funding of 1.2million USD ( approx 8.5cr INR)

The ongoing pandemic and the shift of education from offline system to online system has already impacted the education of thousands of children. Lack of smartphones, computers and internet connectivity has deprived many students of pursuing their online classes.

Therefore, emphasizing on the use of technology in teaching and making education accessible for all in these times will help in promoting online education as a dominant method of teaching where anyone from any corner of the world can get the education from top-class faculty.

Talking about his new Edtech venture, Lloyd says, “Edbus is hiring top faculties from premier institutions like Kota, Hyderabad etc where students will get a chance to get the best quality education from anywhere across the globe”.

The information provided would cater to each and every need of the student, including addressing or avoiding any kind of hindrance or obstacle that they might be facing in their quest for a profession of their choice.

Furthermore, the percentage of people capable of using the internet is 25.6% in rural areas and 73.6% in urban areas.” Therefore, with this wide digital gap already existing between the rural-urban population, shifting the education system on digital platforms will not only hinder the education of thousands of students but will also widen the rural-urban divide.

The 27 years old business tycoon has been excelling in the stock trading business since 2017 by providing expert advice and inculcating confidence in his valuable clients so that they are not affected by the enormous recession caused by the pandemic. He has also been handling classes on the stock market and is making the concept of stock easier for students all across the country.
