James-Foo

"Dyslexia doesn’t define how successful I get to be," says entrepreneur James Foo Torres. James is the founder of Puerto Rico's renowned PR firm 'Imperium Authority’. The firm has achieved impressive milestones with great clients. James has worked hard to make sure his business flourishes despite his dyslexia.

Before walking the path of entrepreneurship, James used to work as an Air Force Radar Technician. After working with the Air Force for 4 years, he decided to follow his entrepreneurial dreams. The entrepreneur says that his undiagnosed dyslexia, his background growing up in Puerto Rico, and his military service helped shape his unique outlook on life.

When entrepreneur James Foo Torres started his business, he did face some difficulties. After all, no journey is devoid of any challenges. But James didn't lose hope and kept going on until he achieved his dreams. When asked what wisdom he would like to share with others, the media relations specialist shares, "Your dream job doesn’t exist. You must create it. If you believe you can do something, don't wait for validation from the outside world. Start following your heart and intuitions from the first day, and take massive action. You will encounter setbacks and failures along the way, but you shouldn't let them stop you from dreaming big. Take the time to organize your thoughts after a failure and realize what you did wrong. Above all else, be willing to learn and grow. The lessons I learned from my mistakes helped me achieve my goals."

James also has a message to those who wish to become experts in their particular field and aspire to become successful entrepreneurs. He says, "Make it a habit to begin your day with yoga or your preferred exercise activity, and to go to bed at the same time every night. That should give you the discipline and clarity to pursue your dreams effectively. In addition, I would recommend going all in on one thing. Find a growing market, solve one problem, and create an irresistible offer".
