Mukesh and Nita Ambani, in a statement, said that their daughter Isha and husband Anand Piramal welcomed twin babies-- a boy and a girl on November 19. The babies have been named Aadiya and Krishna the statement said.
"We are delighted to share that our children Isha and Anand have been blessed by the Almighty with twins on 19th November 2022. Isha and the babies, baby girl Aadiya and baby boy Krishna are doing well," it read.
"We seek your blessings and good wishes for Aadiya, Krishna, Isha and Anand in this most important phase of their life."
Isha Ambani married Anand Piramal, the son of industrialist Ajay and Swati Piramal in 2018.
Anand Piramal is the founder of Piramal Realty. Before Piramal Realty he founded Piramal Swasthya, a rural healthcare initiative. After studying economics at the University of Pennsylvania, he went on to get an MBA from Harvard Business School.
