President and director of LTIMindtree, Venugopal Lambu, resigned barely months after the merger of L&T Infotech and Mindtree. This is the first major exit from the merged entity.
January 10 will be his last working day with LTIMindtree.
"We hereby inform you that Venugopal Lambu has resigned from the position of whole-time director and president, Markets II, to pursue opportunities outside the company,” a statement from the company read.
Lambu joined Mindtree in 2010. Post the merger, he and Sudhir Chaturvedi were made president-markets.
Before joining Mindtree, Lambu worked with Cognizant and HCLTech.
