Tesla CEO Elon Musk is certainly not a fan of working from home. In a recent interaction with CNBC's David Faber, Musk made his displeasure for 'work from home', calling techies who are working from home “laptop classes living in la-la-land.”

His comments come even as many of the major tech companies, including Amazon, have asked their employees to start returning to offices.

Musk observed that it is hypocritical on the part of tech workers to continue working from home even as the service workers have no option but to show up in person.

“I think that the whole notion of work from home is a bit like the fake Marie Antoinette quote, ’Let them eat cake',” Musk was quoted as saying.

“It’s not just a productivity thing,” Musk said, adding, “I think it’s morally wrong.”

“People should get off the goddamn moral high horse with the work-from-home bulls*,” he further said.
