Netflix to open restaurant to offer a taste of delicacies by chefs featured on its food shows

It will offer an “elevated dining experience,” says the streamer

Streaming giant Netflix is all set to take the phrase 'Netflix and chill' to a whole different level with NETFLIX BITES, a restaurant set to be launched in Los Angeles on June 30.

“For the first time, you can get a taste of the shows you know and love through this limited-time pop-up restaurant,” Netflix said announcing the launch of the culinary space. The restaurant will offer an “elevated dining experience” by several popular chefs who were featured in the many nonfiction food shows of the streamer, including Chef’s Table and Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.

The restaurant will also offer custom cocktails by mixologists from Netflix’s Drink Masters, including Frankie Solarik, Julie Reiner, and and Kate Gerwin.

Popular chefs, Curtis Stone (Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend), Dominique Crenn (Chef’s Table, Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend), Rodney Scott (Chef’s Table: BBQ), Ming Tsai (Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend), Ann Kim (Chef's Table: Pizza), Nadiya Hussain (Nadiya Bakes), Jacques Torres (Nailed It!) will “team up to create a special tasting menu that features flavorful bites showing off their unique specialties and giving fans and foodies alike a one-of-a-kind restaurant experience,” the streamer said in a release.

Stone said, “This screen-to-table experience of giving fans a taste of what happens on camera is just awesome.”

“From episode to entrée, with NETFLIX BITES we are creating an in-person experience where fans can immerse themselves in their favorite food shows,” Josh Simon, VP, Consumer Products, said.

The restaurant will be open from 5 pm to 10 pm seven days a week. On Saturdays and Sundays, it will offer a brunch menu from 10 am to 2 pm.
