When will iPhone 15 be launched?

Apple has reportedly kicked off its production in Foxconn Technology Group’s plant in Tamil Nadu's Sriperumbudur. In a bid to fill the gap between Apple's India operations and China production, Foxconn India is gearing up to sell the models within a few weeks after they are shipped from China.

Though the Cupertino-based tech giant is yet to officially reveal the launch date of the iPhone 15 series, rumour mills suggest the new models will be unveiled on September 12 or 13, according to Business Today.

If this comes to fruition, pre-orders can be expected from September 15 and iPhone 15 will reach the customers from September 22.

Rumoured features

Dan Ives, an industry insider with Wedbush Securities, told DailyMail.com that the iPhone 15 could be Apple's stepping stone to tap into Artificial Intelligence. This includes tracking the user's moods by capturing speech and analysing text messages.

Unlike iPhone 14 which features seven plastic lenses in the primary camera, iPhone 15 series might feature a hybrid lens made up of one glass element and six plastic elements. according to Twitter user RgcloudS.

The new models could also feature better batteries and an enhanced RAM. It is also expected to come up with ultra-slim bezels, A17 Bionic chip and USB-C ports. The Pro models may also flaunt a titanium frame and the much-rumoured periscope feature. Read more about rumoured features HERE.
