ICICI Bank increases debit card annual fees from August 21, 2023. Check details

ICICI Bank has issued a notification announcing a hike in annual fees on its debit cards with effect from August 21, 2023. Joining fees for the debit cards were also hiked along the same lines with effect from August 1, 2023.

The annual fees on ICICI Bank Expressions/ Business Expressions Debit Card will be increased by Rs 100 from the existing Rs 499 to Rs 599. You can get a Centro voucher on the anniversary of your debit card.

ICICI Bank Expressions Coral/ Business Expressions Coral Debit Card will have a new annual fees of Rs 899 instead of the earlier Rs 799. Centro and FirstCry vouchers will be available on the anniversary of your debit card.

ICICI Bank Expressions Sapphiro Debit Card will continue with the existing Rs 4,999 annual fees and there will be no hike in fees. You can get Centro, FirstCry, Easemytrip and Yatra vouchers on the debit card anniversary.

ICICI Bank Coral/ Business Coral Debit Card annual fees will be raised from Rs 599 to Rs 699. Centro vouchers can be accessed on the anniversary of the debit card.

ICICI Bank Rubyx Debit Card annual fees will see a sharp climb of Rs 350 as the fees will be raised to Rs 1,099 from the existing Rs 749. Just like the Expressions Coral/ Business Expressions Coral card, the Rubyx card will also give you Centro and FirstCry vouchers on the anniversary.

The annual fees of ICICI Bank Sapphiro/ Business Sapphiro Debit Card will have a sharp spike of Rs 500. The new fees will be Rs 1,999 instead of the existing Rs 1,499. Like the Expressions Sapphiro, this card too will have anniversary vouchers for Centro, FirstCry, Easemytrip and Yatra.

ICICI Bank Coral Plus Debit Card will have no change in its monthly fee of Rs 249, which will amount to Rs 2,988 a year. Centro, FirstCry, Easemytrip and Yatra anniversary vouchers will be available for this card too.

If your card was issued between June 21 and August 20, irrespective of financial year, then the old annual fees will be applicable this year, as this is yet to be levied. New annual fees for these set of customers will be applicable from the next year onwards, said the bank's website.

For all other existing customers not falling in the above bracket, irrespective of financial year, new annual fee structure will apply from this year onwards, the website stated.

You will be able to get the vouchers on email within three months after paying the annual fees.
