Multinational conglomerate LuLu Group is planning to set up India's biggest shopping mall in Gujarat's Ahmedabad.
Chairman and managing director of Lulu Group International Yusuff Ali M.A., talking on the sidelines of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, said the project, which is estimated to cost around Rs 4,000 crore, will begin in 2024.
“The construction for India’s biggest shopping mall will start, and it is a miniature (model). The construction will start this year itself,” news agency ANI quoted Ali as saying.
Last year, Ali had hinted that plans are on to set up shopping malls in Chennai and Ahmedabad.
The group currently has malls in Bengaluru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Coimbatore.
