The move will make X the only platform to charge users for livestreaming. Its rivals Facebook, YouTube and others allows free livestreaming.

X Premium subscriptions are priced at Rs 215.87 per month for Basic, Rs 566.67 per month for Premium and Rs 1,133.33 per month for Premium+.

This comes a week after the X made "likes" feature private. Earlier, Musk had revealed that X would charge a $1 annual fee for new users to access basic features such as liking posts, replying and bookmarking.
