More than two weeks after release of iOS 18 Developer Beta 1 on June 10, Apple has rolled out the Beta 2 with features showcased during the WWDC 2024.

The top features in iOS 18 Developer Beta 2 include iPhone Screen Mirroring, which allows users to mirron iPhone on their Macs. They can unlock iPhones directly from Macs, get notifications, take calls, operate apps and transfer files through drag-and-drop.

An improved SharePlay is another new feature on  iOS 18 Developer Beta 2, wherein user can share screens for remote guidance and interactive sessions.

How to install iOS 18 Developer Beta 2?

If you are a developer, iOS 18 Developer Beta 2 can be downloaded from HERE.

Since this beta is meant only for developers, it is not recommended for ordinary users. The beta allows developers to report bugs, thereby helping Apple fix the issues before general public gets their hands on iOS 18.

That said, a bug or any snags can have irreversible impact on your iPhone, resulting in overheating, battery drain, app crashes or performance lag. 

However, if you still want to download the beta version, you can go to Settings > General > Software Update > iOS 18 Developer Beta.
