Ola Electric, on Thursday, launched its first-ever e-motorcycle, the Roadster series—the Roadster Pro, the Roadster, and the Roaster X.
CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said his company will contribute towards the 2047 vision of building the India of our dream at the launch of the series at the 'Sankalp 2024' event.
Roadster X
This is the budget-friendly variant of the lot, with a starting price of RS 74,999 for the 2.5 kWh battery pack.
The e-bike, which has 18-inch alloy wheels and a 4.3-inch touchscreen, can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 124 km/h.
The booking has already begun and the deliveries are expected from January.
The Roadster
The Roadster, which can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 2.2 seconds, has an introductory price of Rs 1,04,999 for the 2.5 kWh variant. The 4.5 kWh variant is priced at Rs 1,19,999 and the 6 kWh variant at Rs 1,39,999.
According to the company, it can offer upto 579 km on a single charge.
The e-bike, which has 7-inch touchscreen and diamond-cut alloy wheels, will be delivered from January.
Roadster Pro
At an introductory price of Rs 1,99,999 for the 8KWH variant and Rs 2,49,999 for the 16 KWH variant, Roadster Pro is the premium among the lot with a top speed of 194 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 1.2 seconds.
"Three years ago on this day, Ola Electric was a dream; today we’re the largest two-wheeler electric vehicle company in the world," Aggarwal said.
