Apple is set launch the new Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 3 on September 9 along with iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models.

One of the rumoured features that will be available in new Apple Watch models include a revamped heart rate and ECG sensor. This update could help users detect sleep apnea among other conditions, reported 9to5Mac. The new features are also expected to be available on the new Apple Watch Ultra 3 as well.

What is sleep apnea?

Sleep apnea is a disorder marked by episodes in which you stop breathing during sleep and snore loudly, according to Mayo Clinic.

The upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 might also be loaded with a new S10 chip and OLED display, reported Macrumors. The size of the new devices are expected to be available in 44mm and 48mm sizes.

It could also come with bigger displays and increased water resistance. It is also likely to get the Depth app which is currently available for Apple Watch Ultra.

Apple has finally announced that it will unveil the much-anticipated iPhone 16 models and the special event is taglined, "It's Glowtime".

iPhone 16 lineup is expected to include the base models, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, and the top-end iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

iPhone 16 series and the new Apple Watch models will be launched at Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, on September 9 at 10.30 pm IST (10 am PT/1 pm ET). The timing is in line with the launches of previous iPhone models.
