The wait is almost over as Apple is set to launch its highly anticipated iPhone 16 on September 9 at 10.30 pm IST. Besides the iPhone 16 series models, you will also be treated to the Apple Watch Series 10 and Airpods Max.
What to expect in iPhone 16?
Action Button
As usual, the base iPhone 16 will get features that were earlier available only for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. These include the addition of the Action Button, which can be used to set the Focus mode, activate Shortcuts, open Camera etc.
Vertical camera alignment
Instead of the current diagonal cameras in the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, the upcoming iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will come with vertically aligned cameras. Reports suggest that this wll enable users to take spatial videos for the Vision Pro.
A18 chips
iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will be equipped with A18 chips in order to support the Apple Intelligence features when the iOS 18 is rolled out.
Heating issue
Rumours also suggested that Apple may introduce a thermal design to tackle overheating issues found in iPhone 15.
