With Apple fans waiting to get their hands on iPhone 16 models, the Cupertino giant has rolled out iOS 18.1 beta 3 for the new smartphones. The third beta of the new iOS version was earlier released for iPhone 15 Pro models in August.
Installing iOS 18.1 for iPhone 16 models will allow users to transfer data from earlier models with the same iOS version.
iOS 18.1, which boasts of latest iPhone features including the Apple Intelligence, will be released for the public in October.
These new features would not be available on iOS 18, which will be rolled out on September 16. iOS 18 allows iPhone users to drag and drop apps or widgets to any free space on the home screen or lock screen. Users can also make the apps and widgets darker or tinted.

Though iOS 18 is compatible in all the above devices, only iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and new iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max devices will be able to access the Apple Intelligence features.
