Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio introduces new plan; 2 GB data for Rs 10

At a time Vodafone India and Airtel hiked their plan rates, the new Jio plan will only cost customers Rs 999 for 98 days, with access to Jio apps (Jio Cinema, Jio TV)

Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio has launched new recharge plans for customers across the country, offering more value at lower prices. Jio users can now recharge 2GB data and unlimited calling daily for Rs 10 per day.

The new Jio plan will cost customers Rs 999 for 98 days, including additional benefits like access to Jio apps (Jio Cinema, Jio TV). The plan also comes with 100 free SMS per day, The Economic Times Online said in a report.

Jio's competitors Airtel and Vodafone Idea recently hiked tariffs on both prepaid and postpaid plans by 15%, effective July 3, forcing several users to look for other feasible connections. Jio's move is also seen as a strategic move to attract these people instead of migrating to state-owned BSNL, the most viable alternative.
