How Orion glasses accelerated Mark Zuckerberg's journey to $200 billion club

Silencing critics who were against Facebook's transition from a social media giant to Metaverse-centric tech behemoth, now Meta has made a comeback with Orion glasses, which was launched last week.

The prototype of the augmented reality (AR) glasses, which has Micro LED projectors built into the frames, was unveiled at Meta's annual Meta Connect event. The AI-enabled device creates a 70-degree field-of-view holographic display, allowing users to consume digital content without disconnecting from the physical surroundings.

Though Orion glasses are not available for customers yet, the prospects of such a futuristic device has sent its shares soaring. The stock previously closed at $567.84 on Nasdaq index.
