Zomato CEO and co-founder Deepinder Goyal and his wife Grecia Munoz Goyal turned delivery partners for the popular food delivery platform in Gurugram. Donning the famous red uniforms that make Zomato delivery agents stand apart, Deepinder Goyal and Grecia Munoz navigated Gurugram roads to make the deliveries on time. The couple shared the experience of making the delivery through Goyal's Instagram handle on Saturday afternoon.

"Went out to deliver orders a couple of days ago, teaming up with @greciamunozp," Deepinder Goyal titled the photos tagging his wife.

In August Zomato had introduced a feature permitting customers to schedule food delivery orders up to two days in advance. The food delivery platform has rolled out the feature only in select major cities.

"Plan your meals better by placing an order up to 2 days in advance, and we’ll deliver right on time," Goyal had said on X. Goyal clarified that these restaurants have high quantities of dishes in stock historically and have shown kitchen-preparation-time consistency. He assured customers that more restaurants and cities are being added. "We will soon extend this for all orders," he said.

However, users can schedule only orders above Rs 1,000. The feature was made available initially across 13,000 outlets in cities of Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Jaipur.

On August 22, 2024, Zomato discontinued its Legends intercity delivery service, which allowed customers to order food from across 10 cities. Goyal said the service was shut down after two years of trying and not finding a product market fit. It was launched in 2022.
