The fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jet of Russia is better than all its existing counterparts in the world, including the twin-engine stealth multi-role combat aircraft Shenyang J-35 of China, a Russian test pilot claimed.
According to Russian news agency Tass, Sergey Bogdan observed that Russia never lags behind in weapon creation and said the country comes up with its weapons against its competitors and always has a certain temporal reserve.
"In my opinion, the Su-57 fifth-generation airplane is superior to any of the existing ones in the world. As for the newest Chinese J-35 airplane presented, at aerospace shows you can only see general aerodynamic parameters."

Su-57 stealth jet flew in its first appearance away from home at the air show in Zhuhai, which concluded on Thursday.
"When it comes to maneuverability, stability, and controllability, our competitors and rivals do not show everything. But in terms of what has been demonstrated, Russian aircraft are always a little bit ahead," he claimed.
He said the Russian fighter jet has been practically fully tested for airworthiness, maneuverability, stability and controllability and pitched the Su-57 as a "magnificent platform for a future generation of configurations."
"Its weapons—powerful, far-reaching, and long-range—are inside. The defensive capabilities are remarkable. It is a very worthy aircraft with vast, global prospects," he added.
The comments come even as reports said that Russia has agreed to sell the fighter jet to foreign customers.
