Aero India 2025, the 15th edition of Asia’s biggest aero show to be held at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka of Bengaluru from February 10 to 14 will showcase India's defence manufacturing capabilities and cutting-edge technologies, suggesting to global buyers that the country is emerging as a powerhouse of innovation in the sector.
The event, with the theme ‘The Runway to a Billion Opportunities’, will provide a platform for forging partnerships between foreign and Indian firms and discovering newer avenues in the global value chain to accelerate the indigenisation process.
One of the major focus areas of Aero India 2025 is the promotion of Indian start-ups. A wide selection of state-of-the-art technologies and products developed by these start-ups will be showcased at an exclusive iDEX pavilion.
As usual, this edition of the event will feature both air displays and static exhibitions of a large array of military platforms from the aerospace sector. While the first three days of the event (February 10 to 12) will be business days, the remaining days have been set as public days to allow people to witness the grand air show.

“The event comprises a curtain raiser event, inaugural event, defence ministers’ conclave, CEOs’ round-table, Manthan start-up event, breath-taking air shows, a large exhibition area comprising India pavilion and a trade fair of aerospace companies,” the defence ministry said in a release.
In a bid to facilitate dialogue towards strategic partnership with friendly nations, a defence ministers’ conclave on the theme 'BRIDGE -Building Resilience through International Defence and Global Engagement’ will be organised during the event.
Besides, a series of bilateral meetings are planned at the levels of defence minister, defence minister for state, chief of defence staff and secretary among others, on the sidelines of the event. These meetings will focus on boosting defence and aerospace relationships with friendly nations by exploring newer areas to take the partnership to the next level.

The CEOs’ round-table is expected to provide a favourable platform to foreign Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for manufacturing in India. Global CEOs, CMDs of domestic PSUs and premier private defence and aerospace manufacturing companies from India will be participating in the event.
For the public, the event promises to offer an immersive experience, showcasing dynamic aerobatic displays and live technology demonstrations. The last edition of the event had over seven lakh visitors, dignitaries from 98 countries and 809 exhibitors including businesses, investors, start-ups and MSMEs.
