Singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya tied the knot with long-time girlfriend and actor Sonia Kapoor on Friday night.
Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor got married in a traditional Hindu ceremony at Reshammiya's residence. The ceremony was attended by close family and friends.
Himesh Reshammiya, who is excited to embark on this new journey, said, “I am really happy that Sonia and I have started this new journey; she is a lovely girl and I have loved her unconditionally and the same is with her.”
Sonia Kapoor has acted in shows like Remix, Kaise Ye Pyaar Hai and Yes Boss.
This is Himesh Reshammiya's second marriage. Last year, Reshammiya was granted divorce from Komal, his wife of over two decades. It was speculated that Himesh Reshammiya and Komal had filed for divorce because of his closeness to Sonia Kapoor.
Komal, however, maintained that they parted ways due to compatibility issues and not Sonia Kapoor.
Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor will be leaving for their honeymoon on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Himesh Reshammiya will be announcing two new films as an actor.
