Speculations have been rife about Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt being in a relationship. Though the couple has been spotted together on numerous occasions recently, they hadn't made any official confirmation yet.
However, in a recent interview to GQ, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about his relationship with Alia Bhatt, who is also his Brahmastra co-star. When asked if the two were dating, Ranbir Kapoor said: “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit.”
He said, “It’s a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again – you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I’m more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back.” In an interview to NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor had admitted that he has a ‘boy crush' on Alia Bhatt.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is riding high on the success of her latest film Raazi which recently entered the Rs 100 crore club. Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in the Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. His uncanny resemblance to Dutt and performance has been widely appreciated after the trailer of the film released recently.
