With the #MeToo movement slowly finding its feet in India, the next Bollywood celebrity to be accused of misconduct is filmmaker-actor Rajat Kapoor. He has been accused by two women of inappropriate behaviour. Journalist Sandhya Menon, on Sunday, shared screenshots of her conversation with the two women where they claimed Kapoor harassed them on the phone.
In response to these allegations, Kapoor tweeted an apology and said he was sorry from the bottom of his heart.

The first account is that a woman journalist's experience when she was conducting a telephonic interview with Kapoor in 2007. In the middle of the interview, she claimed, Kapoor asked her if 'she was as sexy as she sounded'. His questions were of a sexual nature, and he even asked her about her body measurements.

The second woman said that while she was working as an assistant director in a film, Kapoor would regularly call her from his friend Saurabh Shukla's phone. She claimed he wanted to shoot with her in an empty house.
