The trailer of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's much-anticipated 2.0 was released on Saturday. The trailer, packed with some high-octane scenes, will not let you blink. As Rajinikanth's Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti robot take on the Crow Man (Akshay Kumar), the film promises to be a edge-of-the-seat watch for Rajini fans.
Loaded with VFX, the trailer opens with scenes of people's mobile phones being sucked away from them. Enter the cell-phone obsessed Crow Man who is all set to spell doom on the technology driven world. Directed by Shankar, 2.0 also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who plays the antagonist. Touted to be one of costliest Indian films ever made, 2.0 is a sequel to Enthiran released in 2010.
The teaser of the movie was released on September 13 coinciding with the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Actress Amy Jackson plays the female lead and music has been scored by A. R. Rahman.
After facing several delays, the movie is scheduled to hit screens on November 29.
