Veteran director Bharathiraja is set to play the role of the antagonist in Vasanth Ravi's new film Rocky. Directed by debutante Arun Matheswaran, the film will see Bharathiraja essay a gangster.
Vasanth Ravi, of Taramani fame, shared the poster of the film on Twitter. Darbuka Shiva of Enai Nokki Paayum Thota fame will compose music for the film. Bharathiraja has acted in a couple of movies like Ayutha Ezhuthu, Pandiya Naadu and Kurangu Bommai. In the 2004 film Ayutha Ezhuthu, directed my Mani Ratnam, Bharathiraja played the antagonist opposite Suriya.
