The trailer of Gully Boy, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt was released on Wednesday. Ranveer's rapping skills in the trailer announcement video released last week, had already captivated hearts.
And the trailer only makes you fall all over for Ranveer again as he proves there is no role he cannot ace. The trailer shows Ranveer Singh, his love for rap, and his fight to prove himself. As goes the tagline of the film, apna time aayega (my time will come), Ranveer believes he can rise above his poor economic and social status and prove his mettle. Alia Bhatt seems to play his love interest and supports him in his journey. Kalki Koechlin, too, plays a pivotal role.
Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is said to be inspired from the lives of Mumbai-based street rappers Divine and Naezy. Produced by Excel Entertainment, Gully Boy is scheduled to release on February 14. The movie will also see Ranveer and Alia share screen space for the first time.
