The last time Sunny Leone came to Kerala, she brought Kochi traffic to a standstill, literally. She had visited Kochi last year to inaugurate a mobile phone retail showroom. The massive turnout of fans on one of the major roads of the city, just to catch a glimpse, took even the police by surprise. Hundreds of male fans clambered over barricades and even metro pillars to catch a glimpse of Sunny Leone. The police had to resort to lathi charge to restrain frenzied fans.
Floored by the response, Sunny Leone posted a picture of the crowd and captioned it: “No words...Can't thank the people of Kochi. Was so overwhelmed by the love & support. Never will forget Gods own Country Kerala! Thank you(sic)”.
At the time the state was reeling from floods, she had made a generous donation for the state. “@dirrty99 (Daniel Webber) and I hopefully will able to feed a few of the many people in Kerala that need a warm meal with 1200 kg’s of rice and daal. I know it’s not a dent in what actually needs to be sent and I wish I could do more,” (sic.) Leone wrote in the Instagram photo-caption.
