Actor Kangana Ranaut appears to be in no mood to relent. After claiming that the Bollywood fraternity is ganging up against her and threatening to 'expose' them all, Kangana Ranaut lashed out at Alia Bhatt who had said she was ready to apologise to the Queen actor.
According to a Pinkvilla report, after Alia Bhatt said she does not think Kangana Ranaut dislikes her as she has not done anything to upset her, Kangana Ranaut said she only asked Alia Bhatt to promote a relevant work (Manikarnika). "I asked her if I can be courteous and gracious to acknowledge her requests for encouraging relevant work that she does, why is she so scared to see my film," Kangana Ranaut was quoted as saying.

Further, Kangana Ranaut said she suggested to Alia Bhatt that she grows some spine and support an important film about "woman empowerment and nationalism". Kangana Ranaut also said she does not consider Alia Bhatt successful if she is being merely a puppet of Karan Johar. "Nepo gang life is simply restricted to give and take favours hope she rises above that," Kangana Ranaut told Pinkvilla.

Earlier, when Kangana Ranaut was asked about the lack of support to her during the Manikarnika's promotions, she had said, "Is Rani of Jhansi my aunt? She's as much mine as she's yours. Then why are these people scared? They are worried just because I spoke on nepotism? They have formed a gang". She also had spoken out about how people in the industry, including Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt, did not support her during the release of Manikarnika.
"What Bollywood is doing, the planning and plotting, one thing is for sure, earlier I used to call them out for sexism, nepotism or pay disparity, but now I'll be after them. 'Inki vaat laga dugi'. I'll expose each and every one. They have asked for trouble by ganging up against me," she had said.

Reacting to Kangana Ranaut, Alia Bhatt had said, "I hope she doesn't dislike me and I don't think she dislikes me. I don't think I have done anything intentionally to upset her. If I have, I will apologise to her on a personal level."
"But I have always said that I have admired her a lot as an actor and a person. She is very outspoken and it takes courage to be that way. I wasn't aware of this problem or anything, I was busy with the shooting. So yes, what can I say, I don't want to upset anybody," Alia Bhatt had said.
