'Rowdy Baby', the hit number from Maari 2, featuring actors Dhanush and Sai Pallavi in the lead, is one of the most viral video songs of the year so far.
Last month, the video touched 200 million views on YouTube, breaking Dhanush's previous record of ‘Kolaveri Di’, which had over 175 million views on YouTube.
And one has to admit that more than the movie, it is this song that that has got the most applause. All thanks to the amazing dance moves of the actors choreographed by actor-dancer-director Prabhudheva.
The makers have now released a making video of the song which shows Prabhudeva at work and Sai Pallavi and Dhanush working hard putting on their dancing shoes.
In the video, Sai Pallavi says, “It was all good when I first heard the song, but when I came to know that Prabhudheva is the choreographer, I was tensed a bit. Then Dhanush told me not to worry as it will be very simple. And when I was learning the steps and shooting the dance, I realised it is going to be one big effort.”
Thanking her co-star and director, Sai Pallavi further said she will cherish the song and its shooting.
Dhanush has penned the lyrics of the song and has lent his voice along with Dhee, an Australian playback singer.
