Simbu seems to have taken a fancy for cameo appearances.
After scoring the background music for the adult comedy 90ML and doing a cameo in the movie, the actor is set to appear in a small role in Maha, which is the 50th film of Hansika Motwani. Motwani recently took to Twitter to confirm the reports that Simbu will be making a cameo appearance in the movie.
"Since the buzz is crazy and the news is leaked out way before time. Me and #STR are back in #MAHA," Hansika Motwani said on the social media platform.

Ever since the first look poster of Maha was released, Hansika Motwani teased her fans with multiple posters of the movie. One of the posters had the actor seen in a bathtub, holding a gun while another poster had her reading a torn newspaper that is on fire. The posters did manage to pique curiosity among her fans.
Directed by U.R.Jameel, Maha is expected to be a thriller. The details about Simbu's role in the movie are yet to be out.
Simbu already had a release this year apart from 90ML. Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, an action comedy directed by Sundar C., had Simbu playing the scion of a wealthy businessman who decides to reunite his grandfather with his estranged aunt. The movie had received mixed reviews.
