Hate trolls, abusive messages and mails are something that celebrities are forced to live with ever since social media became everyone's favourite forum to express their thoughts, ideas and hate. No matter how sober and 'culturally appropriate' your roles, posts and photos are, no matter how politically correct your messages are on social media, the stalkers and trolls on social media will inevitably find a way to troll and abuse you if you are a celebrity.
In a recent interview to indiatimes.com, Bollywood actor Sunny Leone opened up about how she used to deal with online hate. She said she had gone through so many hate mails and so much negativity from the Indian community in the US in the initial years of her career. “At that age you are getting so much hate, you don’t know what to do with it, so all I did was I digested and said I have got nothing to do with anything they are saying,” she was quoted as saying.
