A few days after the teaser or the movie Athiran, starring Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi in the lead was released, the makers of the movie have now come out with a trailer.
Fahadh Faasil plays a doctor who comes to a psychiatric facility in Ooty. We get introduced to various inmates of the facility and are told that the character played by Fahadh Faasil is there to shake things up a bit. "I am someone who does not even obey my father," says his character, suggesting that some tense moments and encounters are on their way.
This follows the introduction of Sai Pallavi's character and she is shown in various avatars. There is a Kalaripayattu scene for a few fleeting moments, with Sai Pallavi making a few moves effortlessly.
There is also plenty of action, chase and thrill, if the trailer is anything to go by as Fahadh Faasil's character appears to also have a dark past.
Athiran is touted to be a psychological thriller, starring Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni and Prakash Raj in supporting roles apart from the leading pair of Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi.
The movie, which is written by P.F. Mathews of Ee.Ma.Yau. fame, will be released on April 12 ahead of Vishu.
