Actors Dulquer Salmaan and Jacob Gregory impressed Malayalis as Johns and Korah in the 2013 Malayalam movie ABCD, American-Born Confused Desi.
And now, the finely written and well-made film has got a Telugu version with Allu Sirish and Bharat as leads. The trailer of the Telugu remake with the same title has almost all the sequences from the original packed with humour and action.
The video also introduces the female lead of the movie, Rukshar Dhillon. In the Malayalam version,
Aparna Gopinath played the female lead. But unlike the Malayalam, it seems the Telugu version has more romantic sequences between the leads.
Sirish is the brother of popular star Allu Arjun. Many of Arjun's movies have been dubbed and released in Malayalam although he is yet to make a Malayalam movie debut.
However, Sirish made his Malayalam debut in 1971 Beyond Borders, starring Mohanlal in the lead.
