Sai Pallavi is one of the most sought after actors in the south film industry. The actor has made her mark in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movie industries and won the hearts of movie goers with both her acting prowess and her dance moves.
Sai Pallavi, who was last seen in Suriya starrer NGK, spoke about how she evolved as an actor in a recent interaction with the Indian Express. The actor said when she is before the camera, everything else go blank and she loses the sense of whatever is happening around.

She further said she is neither a method actor nor a spontaneous one, but a mix of both. Admitting that she did not know how to act in the initial phase of her career, she said she used to just follow the instructions of the director. Sai Pallavi said now she shows her involvement on the sets and she observes and learns.
Speaking about the a particular character that she can relate to from the many she played in three languages, Sai Pallavi admitted that it is Malar from the Malayalam movie Premam. She added that she gets emotionally attached to the roles that she plays. Further she revealed that she gets invested in some characters so much that they stay with her for long even after the shooting of the movie has been completed.
The actor also said she is very critical of her work.
