Even as Vijay Sethupathi and his Tollywood fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the actor's first Telugu movie, there are reports that Sethupathi has signed up for another Tollywood flick.
According to media reports, Sethupathi, whose Tollywood debut Chiranjeevi-starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a historical war drama, is set to be released on October 2, has signed up for movie titled Uppena. He is expected to play the role of the heroine's father in the movie.

Krithi Shetty is reportedly playing the female lead in the movie which is expected to be a romantic drama set in a fishing village. The movie marks the debut of Panja Vaisshnav Tej, nephew of mega star Chiranjeevi. Uppena will be directed by newcomer Buchu Babu Sana.
Meanwhile, the actor is also making his Mollywood debut with Marconi Mathai, a comedy entertainer with Jayaram in the lead. Sethupathi is playing himself in the movie.
