Bollywood actor-singer Himesh Reshammiya was in the news in the morning after reports emerged that his car met with an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. According to media reports, the driver of Aap Kaa Surroor actor was injured in the accident.
According to a Times of India report, the actor is safe as he was not present in the car when the accident took place.
The actor reportedly clarified that he was not in the car when when the vehicle met with the accident and added that the driver too is safe although he sustained an injury on the leg and has been admitted to the hospital.
The actor said his driver was hit by another car when he got out of his car. He was the actor's dad's driver, according to the Times of India report. "I’m absolutely fine, the news that I met with an accident is absolutely wrong," the actor was quoted as saying.
Himesh Reshammiya rose to fame with songs like 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne', 'Tera Surroor' and 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja'. He has also acted in a few movies, including Teraa Surroor and The Xpose. He will be next seen in Jatt Butt Juliet.
