A few days ago, fans of the Hindi Bigg Boss were surprised to learn about the amount of money the host, Salman Khan, would charge for the 13th season of the show. The actor was to get a whopping Rs 400 crore, or Rs 31 crore per week.
Now, even as the fans of Telugu Bigg boss, expected to be aired from July 21 on Star Maa are excited for the show, thanks to the host who has been roped in, there are reports of how much the host, Nagarjuna Akkineni, will charge for the show. According to media reports, Nagarjuna will charge around Rs. 12 lakh per episode of the show. Well, superstars do come at a heavy price!
Nagarjuna had charged only around Rs. 7 lakh when he hosted the Telugu version of Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu.
Although the previous season of the show, hosted by Nani began airing on June, 2018, this time the show is likely to be aired from July 21 (Sunday) because of the ongoing cricket world cup. There were also reports that said the airing date would be July 28. However, an official confirmation on the date is still awaited.
According to reports, there will be 14 participants in the Bigg Boss house this time. Some of the popular names that are likely to be in the house include television anchor Sree Mukhi, singers Rahul Siplingunj and Krishna Chaitanya, choreographer Raghu Master and comedian Getup Srinu. However, unlike the previous editions of the show, this time there will be no commoners in the Bigg Boss house.
The show is expected to air more than 100 days. The first two seasons of Telugu Bigg Boss were hosted by Jr NTR and Nani, and the third edition is expected to have an increased viewership owing to the popularity and fan base of Nagarjuna.
