The third season of the Tamil edition of the reality show Bigg Boss is getting all the more interesting as the days pass on. Not just because of the happenings inside the house where inmates are assigned different tasks and struggle to stay in the house and not be in the list of contestants to be eliminated, but also because of certain outside inter fences.

According to reports, the house was visited by police to question one of the contestants, Meera Mithun. The cops reached the house to question Meera, who is accused of cheating a designer and has been charged with a case of money laundering. The amount of money in question in the cheating case is Rs 50,000. The complaint in this regard was registered against her on May 24.

The designer reportedly alleged that Meera took advantage of her using the title of Miss Tamil Nadu which she had won a few years ago. She had claimed that Meera borrowed Rs 50,000 from her and failed to return it.

Meera Mithun had entered the Bigg Boss house on June 25, two days after the reality show, hosted by actor-politician Kamal Haasan began on June 23.

Incidently, Meera is not the only person to have police visit when she is in the Bigg Boss house. Another contestant, Vanitha Vijayakumar who has now been evicted from the show after the eliminations, too had a similar experience. Her ex-husband Anand Rajan had filed a complaint against her in February in Hyderabad, accusing her of kidnapping their daughter.

Rajan and Vanitha were married in 2007 and got divorced in 2012. Their daughter Juanita's custody was granted to Rajan while Vanitha had visitation rights. Things went downhill after after he shifted to Hyderabad from Chennai. Vanitha had alleged that Anand did not intimate her on the same or give any details.

“One day, all of a sudden, my daughter called me asking me to take her back from Hyderabad. I got panicky and asked if she was safe, and she replied saying that she wasn't. I immediately took the flight to Hyderabad and got her back to Chennai. I even asked the police, not to make this a big issue,” she had said, justifying her move to bring her daughter to Chennai.
