Popular Pakistani pop singer Rabi Pirzada may have thought that an interesting idea to attract some easy publicity would be threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a rather creative way. But it didn't go down well for her in the end.

In a video that had gone viral earlier this month, Pirzada was seen posing with a few snakes and alligators and issuing a threat to PM Modi and the rest of India over abrogation of Article 370. She had said these reptiles were special gifts to Modi.

Identifying herself as a Kashmiri woman, she said the snakes are her gifts to Modi. Get ready to die in hell, she had said in the video, adding, she and her friends (the reptiles) would feast on you (PM Modi) in hell.

The video had elicited some funny reactions from Twitterti then.

Now, according to media reports, the singer is facing legal trouble for the possession of these reptiles as they are prohibited exotic animals. The possession of such reptiles can lead to imprisonment of up to three years and a fine of up to Rs20,000, under Punjab Wildlife (Protection, Conservation and Management) Act of 1974.

She claimed that legal action has been initiated against her as she dared to warn PM Modi. She said she appeared in many news channels with these reptiles in the past five years, but faced no troubles. Further, she said such actions makes her believe that Indians are better than "traiter Pakistanis".
