Actress Kalki Koechlin, who recently revealed she was pregnant with her first child with Israeli boyfriend Guy Hershberg, has said she won't rush into marriage because of societal pressure.

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, she opened up about the pregnancy, and other plans. When asked if a wedding is on the cards, she said: “We will see when the time feels right.” She also said that 'out of wedlock' belongs in a Shakespearean drama and not in a millennial world. Marriage can be useful for bureaucracy, but it is not a sign of love, she said.

The Sacred Games 2 actress had said that she plans to go for a water birth. She said that the baby will have a gender-neutral name. “I’ve chosen a name that works for either gender and that is representative of a gay person because I want my child to have that freedom of movement under the many umbrellas of gender that we have.”
