Even as of Kollywood star Vijay are eagerly waiting for the release of his sports action thriller Bigil, it has been revealed that the movie will have run time of close to three hours.
According to media reports, the movie, in which the actor will been seen in multiple roles, will have a run-time of 2 hours 58 minutes.
Producer Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment, in a tweet, revealed that the movie has received a U/A certificate.

Kalpathi has also assured the fans that the release date of the movie will be announced soon. Although Bigil is touted as a Deepavali release, the makers are yet to announce the release date as Deepavali falls on a Sunday. Fans have been repeatedly asking through social media for updates on the release date. Speculations are rife that the movie will be released two days before Deepavali.
Vijay's earlier movies, Mersal and Sarkar, too were released during Deepavali.
Directed by Atlee, Bigil has already broke a record by becoming the most liked trailer in India with two million likes.
The trailer of the movie shows Vijay as an energetic footballer, a strict coach and a local don. Bigil is the most awaited film of the year and appears to have all the elements for Vijay fans to cheer—romance, action, punch dialogues, comedy, drama and plenty of football.
