As actor Kamal Haasan celebrates his 65th birthday on Thursday, he is celebrating his special day with near and dear ones. This year is also special as it marks his 60th year in the film industry.
On his birthday, Kamal and his family travelled to their hometown Paramakudi. According to reports, Kamal will unveil his dad D. Srinivasan's statue in his hometown. He is accompanied by his daughters Akshara and Shruti, and his brother Charu Haasan.
Akshara took to Instagram to share a few pic in stories. She also posted a lovely photograph of herself with Shruthi and Kamal, wishing him success. She wrote: “Happiest birthday to such an amazing father , best friend. You have always pushed us to always be better and achieve better ; you have been a true example of these qualities and much more. I hope this year brings you much more and all the success in what ever you choose.”
Shruti also took to Instagram to wish her father.
According to reports. a statue of his guru, legendary filmmaker K. Balachander, will be unveiled at his office in Chennai on Friday. Kamal will also attend the screening of his film Hey Ram at Sathyam Cinemas, and interact with audience.
