Bollywood actor Neena Gupta has been grabbing headlines with her performance and social media posts. She is often praised for the pictures she posts on her Instagram for her ageless beauty.
It now appears that this gift of 'ageless beauty' may have come as sort of a bane to her as it has been reported that she had to opt out of a movie as she wasn't fit to play the mother of the lead actor.
According to media reports, the actor is no longer part of the upcoming Bollywood movie Sooryavanshi. She was roped in to play the mother of Akshay Kumar in the movie being directed by Rohit Shetty.

A few days into the shooting, the director reportedly decided to scrap her her role. According to Deccan Chronicle, Gupta admitted that she is no longer part of the movie although she shot for it for three days.
According to the news report, sources said Gupta did not look old enough to play Akshay Kumar's mother. The director realized that Akshay Kumar and Gupta, who is only a few years older than him, did not look like mother and son on screen only after they began shooting.
Sooryavanshi, in which Akshay Kumar plays a cop, is the fourth installment in the Shetty's Police Universe. Singham and Simmba are part of this 'universe' and Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh who play the lead roles in these movie are expected to have cameos in Sooryavanshi.
