Even as Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar shared his first look from his upcoming boxing drama Toofan on Thursday, there has been a call to boycott the movie over the actor's decision to join a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Toofan also features veteran actor Paresh Rawal and Mrunal Thakur.
Calling for the boycott of the movie, many users said they place country over entertainment.
If you support #CAA and the poor Hindus who were persecuted by Pakistan, then you must #BoycottToofan.
