‘Khan musketeers have infiltrated Mumbai Police’: Subramanian Swamy on Sushant probe

Maharashtra Home Minister ruled out CBI probe into Sushant's death on Thursday

A day after Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh ruled out CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy said he might file a PIL regarding the same.

Swamy has been regularly voicing his opinions about the case, and was responding to a Twitter user’s comment on the probe. He also took a dig at the ‘three Khans’ and said Bollywood 'servants have infiltrated the police’. “Let the Police fumble more then I will file a PIL in court. I think even Mumbai Police big wigs should be happy if CBI takes over since the three Khan Musketeers and the Bollywood servants have infiltrated the Police,” he tweeted.

On Thursday, Deshmukh said that Mumbai Police is capable enough to handle such cases as they are investigating every aspect of the case including professional rivalry, the Times of India reported. He also said that the Mumbai Police do not see any foul play and details of the case will be shared once the investigation is completed.

Deshmukh’s statements came after Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty took to social media to request Union Home Minister Amit Shah for CBI inquiry. Along with a picture of Sushant, Rhea shared on Instagram: “Respected @amitshahofficial sir, I’m Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise. I have complete faith in the government, however in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely, Rhea Chakraborty #satyamevajayate”.
